Hair transplant lacks density
Lack of hair density is a common problem among people who have had a hair transplant. It can have several different origins.
The causes of the lack of density
Sometimes it is due to an insufficient number of grafts implanted per cm². Other times it is related to the patient's profile and their unhealthy lifestyle, such as for smokers and excessive alcohol drinkers.
Low donor area density
Another cause of the lack of density is the weakness of the donor area of the patient, which does not allow to collect enough grafts to obtain a satisfactory result.
To have a good density, it is necessary to count at least 60 grafts per cm2.
