How many grafts are needed for the vertex?
To completely cover a bald vertex, it takes about 8,500 to 12,000 hairs divided into 4,000 to 5,000 grafts, depending on the size of the area to be treated.
The Saphyr FUE method for the vertex
Since the vertex area is poorly irrigated by blood, there is a greater chance that the grafts will not take.
This is why the sapphire FUE method is more suitable for this area than the DHI method.
With the Safyr FUE method, the grafts are implanted deeper, bringing them closer to the blood vessels.
